With its big, commanding Grand Pacific dreadnought body, all-solid tonewoods and V-Class bracing, the AD27e flametop from the American Dream Series represents exceptional value for everyday musicians. Solid Big Leaf Maple combined with nickel bronze strings from D'Addario, the maple construction results in an appealingly rustic sound that's totally distinct from the pristine, vibrant quality that many players associate with Taylor. Under the hood, our innovative bracing scheme dials up the response with more volume and longer sustain, also drawing out more of the essential tonal qualities of the tonewoods. Visually, the AD27e Flametop offers a rootsy, workmanlike vibe that fits right in with its siblings in the American Dream Series, with maple's beautiful figuring complemented by a dusky Woodsmoke finish and a satin sheen. It's available both with and without ES2 electronics and ships in a lightweight, super-sturdy AeroCase.
