NEW VERSION OF THE RELAY G10T SOFTWARE.
VERSION 1.06 RELAY FIRMWARE - CHARGING
It has been found that some Relay® G10T wireless transmitters with v1.05 software may not be charged properly in hot environments.
The new update v1.06 ensures the correct charging behavior, as well as improving the LED response in a more accurate charging mode.
Update v1.06 also incorporates important security updates from version v1.05 released
in March of this year. We highly recommend updating v1.06 as soon as possible.
First, download the latest version of the Line 6 Updater for the Relay G10 / G10S:
• Go to www.Line6.com and click on "Support"
• Scroll down and select "Downloads"
• On the next page, define the three drop-down windows in the "Free Software Downloads" section
to: [Relay G10 or Relay G10S], [Line 6 Updater], [your Mac or PC]
• Click on "GO"
• The page will be updated with the latest available Line 6 Updater.
Click "DOWNLOAD" to download the Updater program to your computer
• You will be asked to either log in to your Line 6 account or create a new account
• Click “ACCEPT AND DOWNLOAD” and follow the on-screen instructions to save the Line 6 Updater installation file
• Once the file is fully downloaded, double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions to install it on your computer.

Then update the receiver and transmitter Relay G10 / G10S
• Connect the transmitter to the receiver
• Connect the USB port of the receiver to your computer with the USB cable included in the package or use a similar Micro-USB cable (Note: some Micro-USB cables only charge devices and do not transmit data. Try multiple cables if you cannot get a connection).
• Run the Line 6 Updater program. Log in to your Line 6 account.
• Click on "Relay G10 / G10S Receiver"
• Click the "Update" button next to the latest software version. Follow the instructions to get started the information process. Important: Do not turn off or disconnect your receiver or computer during the update.

It came to our attention that some Line 6 Relay G10 series products use lithium-ion batteries
may, in some very limited cases, overheat. See photos of the product below.

This overheating may result in a potential risk of fire or injury.
We carry out extensive tests in an external laboratory in order to determine the exact cause of this overheating. At this stage, we believe that you will only need a firmware upgrade for the product batteries to prevent them from overheating.
In the meantime, as a precautionary measure, if you own one of these models, stop using it immediately until you are provided with a firmware upgrade or other product instructions.
